Marie's Adventure Remuru Boss Guide
Why Easy barely helps, what v1.0g fixed on Safe Day, and how to prep the mid-game wall on v1.0h.
Remuru is the mid-game name players type when they ask “can I change difficulty mid game?” On itch, that exact thread sits next to Festival Rival frustration: Normal feels overtuned, Safe Day still does not skip the fight, and lowering difficulty with the goddess-area item helps less than hoped. This page is the Remuru-specific checklist so Difficulty Settings can stay the slider hub and Festival Rival can stay the festival hub.
Stay on v1.0h. The Remuru-relevant combat letters are already in:
- v1.0d — revamped Safe Day.
- v1.0e — half Combat EXP after empty stamina; Festival Rival retune (different fight).
- v1.0f — difficulty curve rebalance; Safe Day also reduces enemy Max HP with certain enemies excluded; Volkard rework.
- v1.0g — Safe Day HP scaling did not work correctly on Remuru — that is the official sentence. If you tested Safe Day on 1.0f and Remuru felt identical, this is why. Also Killswipe, Demonology Rewrite, EXP log, overdue log.
- v1.0h — Config disable automatic milking on sleep; game continues while unfocused; competition avatar and cutscene camera fixes.
If you are still on v1.0f because itch still showed a 1.0g zip last week, download Marie’s Adventure.v.1.0h.zip or let Steam update. Then retry Remuru once before you assume the slider is broken (Release Notes).
What players actually report
Verified community language, not invented mechanics:
- Remuru is a story-gated wall. You cannot farm forever if the quest already opened.
- The difficulty item is on the ground where you first met the goddess — pick it up later to change modes mid-save.
- After switching to Easy / Safe Day, Remuru still hurts. Births and Chroma matter more than the label on the slider.
- Echoes, economy, and missing tutorials make the wall feel worse than a single HP bar.
This wiki will not publish a fake Remuru skill rotation. No numbered Patch Note lists Remuru’s kit. What is documented is the Safe Day HP scaling fix aimed at this fight in v1.0g.

Prep checklist
- Update to v1.0h, then confirm you are not loading a day-one save that still carries the Demonology Rewrite 1 HP pack bug — v1.0g fixed that after people ported 1.0 → 1.0f → later (Known Issues).
- Deliver at Sylva City Inn (How to Give Birth, Party Progression).
- Top off stamina. Empty stamina halves EXP and makes a long Remuru attempt miserable (Combat Basics). Use the v1.0g EXP log after a trash pack to see what you actually earned.
- Clear Stuffed so food can restore stamina again (v1.0f rule).
- Change difficulty on purpose. Walk back to the goddess meeting area, use the ground item, save, then fight a trash pack to feel the delta before burning a Remuru attempt.
- Re-test Safe Day after v1.0g. The official note says Remuru’s Safe Day HP scaling was wrong. A 1.0d or 1.0f Safe Day retry is not the same experiment.
- Fix Chroma. Vitality 3 was wrong until v1.0c.
- Swap off Crown of Fortune Cat if you are not mid-conception (Artifacts).
- Stock potions (Brothel Guide).
- Manual save. No Steam Cloud listed for 4819360 (Save Files).
- If Killswipe is part of your kit, you need v1.0g+ (Hellebore).
Fight mindset
Treat Remuru as a prep check that happens to have a name:
- Manual turns. Auto-battle is how skill-spam bosses look “unfair.”
- Heal early. A wipe far from Sylva also wastes pregnancy walking.
- Do not confuse Remuru with Festival Rival (two named retunes) or Volkard (explicit rework). Those have their own pages.
- If the fight still feels like a three-stage gimmick, that language in feedback threads is about overtuned bosses in general — including Festival Rival. Compare after you are on 1.0h.
Belobog is a separate itch question (“level 25, Safe Day, cannot get close”). This wiki does not have a verified Belobog script yet. Use the same prep (births, stamina, Safe Day after 1.0g, charms if you have them) and do not assume Remuru tactics copy over.
Pregnancy around Remuru
Do not enter at 100%. Prefer deliver → fight, or fight mid-gestation then walk home. v1.0g logs Overdue. Sleeping still does not advance pregnancy (Pregnancy System). v1.0e can block auto-birth; v1.0h can block auto-milking when you rest in town (Content Settings).
If you alt-tab during a long attempt, v1.0h is supposed to keep the game running unfocused instead of freezing the RPG Maker window the old way (Controls).

Remuru is the fight that made players hunt a mid-save difficulty toggle. Use the goddess item, then retest Safe Day on v1.0g+, land births, and keep stamina honest. The slider is a helper — the pregnancy engine is still your real power curve.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Can I change difficulty before Remuru?
Yes. Return to the starting goddess area and use the item on the ground. Then retest Remuru on v1.0g or newer so Safe Day HP scaling actually applies.
Does Safe Day make Remuru easy?
No. Players say it helps less than expected. v1.0g specifically fixed Safe Day HP scaling on Remuru — update if an older Safe Day retry felt identical.
Is Remuru the same fight as Festival Rival?
No. Festival Rival was retuned in v1.0c and v1.0e. Remuru’s documented combat change is the v1.0g Safe Day HP scaling fix.
What version should I fight Remuru on?
v1.0h. You need v1.0g for Remuru Safe Day HP and Demonology fixes, plus v1.0h QoL for unfocused windows and milking Config.
Is there an official Remuru phase guide?
No Patch Note lists Remuru phases. This page covers prep, version, and Safe Day — not invented skill rotations.
